Blanket, Saddle Pad / Numnah & Riding Attire Washing
Specialist cleaning of all horse blankets, saddle pads, and riding attire, even dry cleaning of riding jackets.
Horse blankets and numnahs accumulate sweat, stable grime, mud, and fungal spores. Not only does this look ugly but also breaks down waterproof membranes and can irritate your horse’s skin. We use equine-safe detergents at correct temperatures for each fabric type.
All buckles, straps, and seams are checked during cleaning.
Saddle pads absorb sweat and skin oils with every ride. Unwashed pads harbour bacteria and lose their shape and grip and hardens on the inside. We use material-specific washing cycles for different types of material, then reshape while damp and air-dry. Returned fresh, odour-free, and correctly shaped.
We specialize in doing our best to make your white showing saddle pads and jodhpurs stain free and sparkling clean.

Pricing of blanket washing depends on the type of blanket and type of material of the items.
Repairs and Restoration
Repair of tears, seams, buckles, clips, belly bands and other fasteners. As our seamstresses say, nothing is too broken or torn up to fix.
We do our best to colour match our repair patches with the colours of your blankets.
We evaluate the size of the repair required and the different types of materials needed for the repair, such as materials, buckles, and clips.

Emergency Repair Service
Big competition this weekend and your rug just got shredded? We offer priority emergency repair service within a 24-hour turnaround for urgent cases. This service is available Monday – Friday and is subject to capacity. Call us on 079 509 8267 to confirm availability. An emergency surcharge applies.

Yard Collection Service
We come to you to fetch and deliver your blankets and numnahs. Available within selected areas – no hassle, no courier.
We collect and deliver a minimum of once per month for far outlying areas, twice per month for areas within a 40km radius of Durbanville, and once per week for our Individual and Yard club holders.
You are also more than welcome to drop your items off at the EqueHouse venue in Durbanville.
Individual & Yard Club Plans
Pay a monthly retainer fee of R300 per individual or R1500 per yard of 10 clients to receive priority turnaround of no more than 7 work days for repairs and washing. Your emergency repairs and washing will be pushed to the front of the que.
You / your yard will have weekly collection and dropping of blankets and numnahs.
Horse & Rider Costume Design
Have a fancy dress event, themed show, or fun costume competition coming up? We can manufacture custom horse-and-rider costumes tailored to your vision. Pricing will vary depending on the complexity of the design and the materials required.
